Showcase Silent Auctions, based out of The Woodlands, Texas, is one of the largest, providers of high quality, unique, one of a kind products specifically dedicated to help raise additional funds for non-profit and charitable organizations, like yours, on a 100% consignment basis. We have partnered with numerous companies to provide our clients with only the best! Our extensive portfolio of items provides something that every single person attending the event will be sure to enjoy. We provide fully authentic, high-quality autographed sports and entertainment memorabilia, handmade women’s jewelry and purses, and travel packages all over the country experiencing once in a lifetime exhilarating events perfect for any silent or live auction! Not only do we have the ability to provide these items, but we are also willing and able to help support each event by providing a full turn-key service that can alleviate this troublesome task by hosting your silent auction for FREE!
We arrive at least 2 hours prior to the event starting with 25-50 (based on attendance) incredible silent auction items on a 100% consignment basis.
We provide a customer service-oriented representative to bring and display the items which will include bid sheets, pens, photo display holders and mannequins. We also have the ability to bring tables and linens if there are none available.
We remain on-site throughout the duration of the event to answer any questions about our products and help generate interest in not only our items but for any donated items you may also have.
At the end of the event, we collect all of the bid sheets, determine the winners, take payment and distribute all of the auction items to the winners. Because we are already on-site, we ensure that each item is packed in the proper packaging with matching certificates of authenticity. Whatever items don't sell we just take back.
If the organization would like to collect payment for the items at the conclusion of the silent auction, we are simply there to act as an additional volunteer to help ensure the check-out process goes smoothly. Then after all items have been paid for and delivered, we simply invoice for the amount of our portion of the items shortly there-after.
Once we have collected all of the payments for the items and delivered any items to people not present at the conclusion of the event, then we will assess the total net proceeds for the organization. A check will be sent within 14 days when all is complete along with a detailed spreadsheet of the activity.
The bottom line is that this is a full turn-key service with zero cost and zero financial risk that could potentially yield high gains. Not to mention, because of the service we provide, very important volunteer and employee man hours can now be spent in other areas of the event while we assist and even eliminate this component in its entirety for your organization.

How does my charity/organization make money?
Prior to the event, you are sent a list of silent auction items with our cost and the opening bid. The opening bid is normally set at 15-25% above our cost/reserve price. ALL proceeds above and beyond our cost/reserve price go directly to the charity/organization. We do not take a percentage!
How do we get paid?
Within 7-10 days upon completion of the silent auction, Showcase Silent Auctions will send a check to your charity/organization for the winning bid amounts over our cost. If you decide you want to collect payment at the event for the auction items, then you will simply write a check to SSA for the cost of the items sold as predetermined from the list of items provided prior to the event.
How much money can my charity/organization make?
The sky is the limit and is all dependent on the number of bids each item receives. For example, if an item has a cost of $200 with a minimum bid of $250, and that item receives just 1 minimum bid, then the charity/organization receives $50. If that same item receives multiple bids and has a final bid of $1,000, then the charity/organization receives $800. Again, we do not take a percentage.
What do we have to do or provide as a charity/organization?
The only thing you have to do is provide us space to set up the silent auction and promote the event. That is it! We even have the ability to provide tables and lines just in case.
Does Showcase Silent Auctions donate any items?
Yes, SSA will donate 1-2 items to every silent auction with ALL proceeds from those items going to the charity/organization.
Who chooses the silent auction items?
We hope that since you have chosen to put your trust in us to provide a full turn-key silent auction for your cause, that you would trust our extensive knowledge as to what are the hottest selling items at the time and what are our most popular items at every auction. We also would like input from any of the organizers of the event as to any VIP's attending or particular requests for items prior to the event. Information such as college alumni, favorite professional teams and any other pertinent information will allow us sufficient time to make sure those items are available at the event.
What happens to the items that do not receive any bids?
Hopefully that is not the case, but in the event any items have not received any bids, then we simply take them back.
What kind of autographed items can you provide us with?
We have a variety of autographed memorabilia from the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, PGA, MLS, NCAA, boxing, wrestling, political and entertainment industry that include jerseys, photos, helmets, bats, baseballs, footballs, guitars and golf flags just to name a few.
How do I know the autographs are real?
Showcase Silent Auctions offers only authentic autographed memorabilia as well as a 100% money back lifetime Certificate of Authenticity with every single autograph. We offer autographed memorabilia only from the top, reputable, leading suppliers of authentic sports memorabilia. The companies that authenticate these items include James Spence Authentication (JSA), Beckett Authentication Services (BAS), Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA/DNA), Steiner Sports, Upper Deck, Fanatics, Schwartz, Panini, Mounted Memories, Tri-Star Productions, and Fiterman Sports. All autographed items come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from these suppliers that include a hologram or sticker on the item. All are very reputable in the memorabilia business and guarantee items 100%. In most cases you can even look up the items on a website to verify the authenticity.
What happens if someone wins an item and is not present?
That is not a problem, we will still be able to contact and collect from the person via the telephone given the person’s information will be on the bid sheets we provide. Then we can either leave the item with the charity/organization’s person in charge to make available for pick up or deliver directly to the person.
